My love for the Pink Panther



As a kid I was a fan of multiple different animated shows. Ranging from the 90s Spider man cartoons that aired in Kids Fox to any Disney animated show like the adventures of Tarzan.  But one of my all-time favorite has to be the Pink Panther. From its iconic music to its stylized form of animation, the Pink Panther is a unique animated show. 
            I love how they didn’t always if ever paint the entire landscape. Many times the ground and the sky was left blank and in other occasions the entire back ground was pink. Sure, this is not a show where you get killer detail in every charters design and environment. In fact, Pink Panther is technically considered to be limited animation. But the show uses this to its advantage and embraces it making this world feel different from any other animated world. 
            Another aspect that makes this show so great and in my opinion timeless is the fact that its silent. You don’t need dialogue to make this funny. Their actions alone in this show makes it funny. A young kid could watch this and be amused because there is no complicated language that might go over this head. No adult will get bored because the dialogue is nerfed for kids. 
The show as a whole is great and deserves to be among the classics for animated shows. What shows are some of your all time favorites and why?

This weekend, I watched the hit 2005 animated movie Bratz: Rock Angelz. This movie was one of the first Bratz films in CGI, and let me tell you- the plot is ALL OVER THE PLACE. The girls start a fashion magazine and use stolen passes to get into hot London punk clubs, but when they lose their passes they decide that the only way to get into the gig is to become a rock band? The New Spider Man!

Yesterday I saw spiderman with some buddies and we all walked out absolutely giddy! This animation is the best animation to hit the theaters in 2018. Period. I remember watching it and as I was watching it thinking, "thank god I already finished all my reviews because I don't think I can put into words how good this movie is in just a page". The style of this animation is something you have never seen before from Hollywood. It is absolutely stunning. It follows traditions of comic book artists with bright colors, dark lines on the face, and a pop art texture overlayed on top of everything. My breath was taken away during the final fight scene: it was gorgeous , emotional, and the stakes were made clear in every shot.
