Jane Aaron
I decided to look more into Jane Aaron after she was mentioned in the reading. Her stuff is really cool!

I think the amount of work that has to go into these is pretty incredible.
The thing I find most interesting about these, though, is how cheerful and sort of cute they are. She also did work for Sesame Street, and that makes sense to me. After watching so much dark/uncanny imagery for class, and remembering most of the examples of Stop Motion that come to mind for me (Coraline, Tim Burton, Nightmare Before Christmas...) it was nice to see how similar techniques can be used to create an atmosphere that's completely different.
