Ralph Breaks the Internet Was Better

In this post I thought I would talk about why Ralph Breaks the Internet was better than the first film. It starts similarly to the first in that the main characters immediately start out on a journey. This time, the journey is to find another steering wheel for Vanillope's racing game or else the game will be shut down. Then Ralph and Vanillope travel through the internet and face several obstacles on their path to fixing the game.

The reason why I believe this sequel is better than the first film is because the fun and games are much more rewarding. For example, the film does an excellent job of including clever humor that showcases the ridiculous nature of the internet as well as several pop culture references. Part of the film includes all of the original disney princesses and pokes fun at their habits of randomly bursting out into song.

Most importantly, the film includes an important message about friendship and what happens when you have to move on from a relationship. Everyone has to chase their own destiny and true friends will understand that no matter what. I think Ralph Breaks the Internet has something for both adults and children.

  1. I agree! I loved the first Wreck it Ralph, but this one was crazy good. The internet and pop culture references were fantastic and made it more entertaining for older audience members. The colors and amount of information that was on the screen in the "internet world" was so overwhelming- but in the best way possible. I thought the way they showed the message of the story *spoiler alert kinda* with all the angry Ralphs was a little cheesy, but besides that I thought it was way superior to the first one.
