Empire of Dreams!!

Watching “Empire of Dreams” last class really made me more aware of the entire filmmaking process early in the world of animation and CGI. I also like how it humanized each person who helped make the movie and how they viewed George Lucas and his work. I learned that it takes at least one especially driven individual with a vision to put something to work especially when it comes to breaking the boundaries of animation or shooting in the hot Tunisian sun. I have a new respect for George Lucas and the animators who worked not only to create the first films but to go back and re-animate the entire films to make it a perfect work of art. Animation has come an extremely long way and it’s really interesting to see how “Star Wars” impacted that.

  1. I love that comment that you made about how it only takes one person to break the boundaries of something. I 100% agree with that and this is actually really true when you think about all of the greats. Things that only start out with a couple of people, take Pixar for example, can really turn into something big if you truly have the drive and passion for it.
